American Heart Association HS FIRST AID Courses This course is designed for those who are initial or renewal students
and who want to know FIRST AID. Goals include learning or relearning
adult/child/infant general principles, medical or illness emergencies,
and traumatic or injury emergencies. Additional content can include
environmental emergencies. |

National Safety Council (NSC) BASIC FIRST AID Courses This course is designed for those who are initial or renewal students
and who want to know FIRST AID. Goals include learning or relearning
actions for breathing emergencies. It also includes identifying and caring
for bleeding, sudden illnesses, and acute injuries. |

| National Safety Council (NSC) BBP Courses This course is designed for those who are initial or renewal students, who may or may not be professional rescuers, and who need or want to know aspects of bloodborne pathogen (BBP) and airborne pathogen (ABP), and who may come in contact with infectious materials as part of their jobs. Specific topics discussed include transmission and prevention of disease, standard (universal) precautions aka body substance isolation, exposure control and appropriate labeling. Course time is 1-2 hours. |

National Safety Council (NSC) FIRST RESPONDER Courses This course is designed for those who are initial or renewal students, who may or may not be professional rescuers, and who need or want to know CPR/AED, FIRST AID and BBP on a higher level. Goals include using the US DOT curricula to learn or relearn first responder principles, adult/child CPR/AED, infant CPR, adult/child/infant choking treatment, adult/child/infant BVM (bag-valve-mask) use and adult/child/infant barrier device use. Additional course content includes the following:
